About Us

The North Wales Trunk Road Agency (NWTRA) came into being on the 1st of October 2005 following the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) review of trunk road management in Wales. NWTRA is responsible for the management and maintenance of the trunk road network in the North Wales area.

Partnership

As one of three Trunk Road Agencies in Wales, NWTRA operates on the basis of a partnership between the North North Wales Local Authorities:

• Conwy County Borough Council (www.conwy.gov.uk);
• Denbighshire County Council (www.denbighshire.gov.uk);
• Flintshire County Council (www.flintshire.gov.uk);
